How To Re-Wax Your Hat
- Apply with a microfiber rag. Using a microfiber-type cloth, take a small amount of wax and rub it onto the hat in a circular motion to work it into the fabric.
- Let it start penetrating. Keep working the wax in until you see it soaking into the canvas.
- Heat it in. Use a hair dryer to melt the wax into the hat as it heats up.
- Build it up to your liking. While heating, rub in a little more wax as needed until you're happy with the shade and amount of wax on the hat.
When to re-wax: When water stops beading on the surface and starts soaking in, or the fabric looks dry or faded.
