We appreciate you shopping with Back Down South Clothing, we want you to love your  new gear - but if something's not quite right, we make returns easy!                                        


All returns or exchanges must be made within 30 days of the original purchase date.

To be eligible for a return, your item must have NOT been worn, used, washed, dried, stretched, bent, shaped or otherwise altered/modified from its original new condition.  The original packaging must be provided and tags attached if applicable. 

If an item looks worn or doesn’t meet these return conditions, it unfortunately won’t qualify. Even if it was just worn once, we cannot accept it.

Any item that you purchase on sale is FINAL SALE and can NOT be exchanged or returned. 

HOW TO RETURN

Be sure to include your original invoice or a paper with your order number. - It’s attached to your shipping label.

Need us to send you a return label? No problem! Just email help@backdownsouthclothing.com and we’ll send one your way. (The cost of the return label will be deducted from your refund or store credit) Or you’re welcome to ship it back using your own label!

REFUNDS & STORE CREDIT

  • Once we receive your return and confirm the condition, we’ll issue your refund or store credit via email.
  • A $7.99 shipping fee will be deducted from your refund or store credit via email. (USA Orders Only)
  • If you want a refund instead of store credit, just let us know when you email!

Gift With Purchase: Promotional items received for free (e.g., “gift with purchase”) are not eligible for return on their own. If you are returning an item that qualified for a gift with purchase, all items in that order (including the free gift) must be returned to qualify for a full refund. If the free gift is not returned, the cost of a return shipping label will still apply and the value of the gift may be deducted from your refund.

Exchanges (USA Orders Only) 📦

  1. Check our website to confirm if an item/size/color/style is in stock.
  2. Email help@backdownsouthclothing.com and request authorization.
  3. Pack the items in the original packaging.
  4. Add a note in the package listing YOUR NAME, ORDER # and EXCHANGE DETAILS (WHAT YOU WANT US TO DO).
  5. Ship the item to us as outlined above. We highly recommend saving your tracking information in case your package is lost or delayed. We are unable to offer free shipping from your address to our store. 
  6. Once the items are received and processed, we will pay to ship the new items back to you. 

We are unable to offer exchanges for orders delivered outside of the USA due to taxes, duties, and brokerage fees outside of our control.  Authorized returns from outside of the USA may only be eligible for a refund excluding shipping, handling, taxes, duties and/or fees.

Refunds and Credits

  • Refunds and credits will be applied to the original method of payment upon receipt of all items and confirmation of their condition. The typical turnaround time for processing refunds and credits is 5-7 days once we receive the item(s).
  • Shipping and Handling costs are non-refundable unless an item is confirmed as damaged prior to delivery or defective by our Customer Service Dept.  If we are unable to exchange or repair a damaged or defective item to comply with your request, we may, at our discretion, issue a gift card or store credit.

🏷️ Need to change a size or address before shipping?

No problem — just message us! But once the order has shipped, you’ll need to go through the normal return process.
